I was surprised to see any bad comments about this place. Maybe they're talking about the Riverdale office? I went to the Silver Spring office, and while the parking lot may be a little small compared to large office buildings, there are enough spaces for up to 4 cars. I was able to park immediately. I almost walked in to the main level door of the house up the steps, but I backtracked before knocking or entering when I saw the "Open" sign on the basement door. (My point here is, don't go up the steps.) When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the waiting room. It was bright, sunny, and beautifully decorated. The walls are either mirrored, or a beautiful sky blue. Someone really cared in making the waiting room, and did well with the rest of the space too, with what they've been given. The receptionist was CRAZY nice. Even though it took a while to be seen (like 45 minutes), I mostly didn't mind because the receptionist and I really hit it off conversation wise. When I was finally taken back, everyone I encountered was patient with me, which I appreciated. I'm 9 months pregnant and walking has been difficult, like for any heavily pregnant woman. I saw Dr. Archer, who was very nice, funny, and professional. Not gonna lie, the cleaning SUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKEEEDDD and it hurt a lot (they should take me up on my suggestion of getting stress balls for their patients). But two days later, with Dr. Archer's advice and treatment plan, my mouth is feeling more and more red carpet ready than it has felt in years. I'm looking into getting private dental insurance so I can still go visit them once I'm no longer covered for dental after my baby is born (heads up for those pregnant ones who are covered under Maryland Medicaid and didn't know that your dental ends when the baby is born. I wasn't informed of this basically until my 8th month of pregnancy). Another tip: private dental insurance is not even as close as expensive as health insurance. More people should have at least dental insurance.
